Research by Ipsos Marketing Australia has found that the most influential brand in the local market is Google. According to Ipsos managing director Gillian O’Sullivan, customers surveyed felt that it helped them make ‘more smarter choices and changed what they do every day for the better’. This reflects global views, with Google also considered internationally the most influential. Following up on Google, was Microsoft and Facebook- two other digital brands- highlighting the growing influence of this space on the every day Australian. The highest Australian brand was Woolworths at number 4, pipping Coles at number 6 to the higher position. Who else do you think ranks as influential?
